Like many people in cybersecurity, our journey didn't begin with a career plan—it began with curiosity.

Long before certifications, job titles, or professional engagements, we were the ones taking apart family computers just to understand how they worked, exploring home networks to see what made them tick, and reverse-engineering software simply for the challenge of learning something new. Somewhere along the way, we also spent countless late nights playing Call of Duty. That's where the name VSAT Security comes from—a nod to the Orbital VSAT scorestreak that became an inside joke and eventually evolved into our brand.

That curiosity eventually became a profession.

Over the years, we've had the opportunity to work across organizations of all sizes—from fast-moving startups to large enterprise security teams—gaining hands-on experience in security operations, threat hunting, incident response, vulnerability management, and penetration testing. Those experiences reinforced a simple belief: effective cybersecurity isn't about checking compliance boxes or selling the most expensive solution.
